Yosemite National Park, California







Yosemite National Park is a United States National Park spanning eastern portions of Tuolumne, Mariposa and Madera counties in the central eastern portion of the U.S. state of California. The park, which is managed by the National Park Service, covers an area of 747,956 acres (3,026.87 km2) and reaches across the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada mountain chain. Over 3.7 million people visit Yosemite each year, most spend their time in the seven square miles (18 km2) of Yosemite Valley. Designated a World Heritage Site in 1984, Yosemite is internationally recognized for its spectacular granite cliffs, waterfalls, clear streams, giant sequoia groves, and biological diversity. Almost 95% of the park is designated wilderness. Yosemite was central to the development of the national park idea. First, Galen Clark and others lobbied to protect Yosemite Valley from development, ultimately leading to President Abraham Lincoln's signing the Yosemite Grant in 1864. Later, John Muir led a successful movement to establish a larger national park encompassing not just the valley, but surrounding mountains and forests as well—paving the way for the United States national park system.

"Trolltunga" Sharp Top Hill - Norway



Hidden deep within Fjord Norway lies one of the country's most spectacular hiking destinations. A classic unspoilt natural wonder, Trolltunga (The Troll's Tongue) is a narrow rock that struts horizontally out from a cliff 700m above the Ringedalsvatnet lake below. How far along the tongue do you dare to venture? Only you can decide!You'll pass waterfalls, luscious green vegetation and steep mountain ridges as you ascend almost 1000m, but the reward is simply breathtaking. As you stand on the rock taking in the view across the Folgefonna plateau glaciers, you'll feel on top of the world.







The full Trolltunga hike takes up to 10 hours return, and is only recommended for experienced hikers. The journey starts in Skjeggedal and various attractions are lined up along the route, including the Ringedal dam and glacial potholes. Other options include cycling, or a guided tour along a via feratta (protected climbing route). Thanks to Norway's freedom-to-roam laws, you can also extend your hike by pitching a tent. Whichever option you choose, it's only possible to reach Trolltunga from about mid-June to mid-September.The best advice for your circumstances will come from the local tourist information office in Odda. They will supply you with information, maps, and guidance on weather conditions.

The Abel Tasman National Park

Eli Creek, Fraser Island, Australia




Fraser Island sits on top of a huge underground reservoir of fresh water. Much of the 1800 millimetres of rain the Island receives each year, filters through the sand until it is held by the rock base some 30 metres below sea level. As a result, there is an abundance of natural springs feeding freshwater streams that ceaselessly pour into the Pacific Ocean to the east and Hervey Bay to the west.In one 30 kilometre section of the famous 75 mile eastern surf beach 200 creeks run into the Pacific Ocean; some large, some appearing as just wet sand from fore dune to surf. The largest and most attractive on the eastern shore is Eli Creek, which winds from many kilometres inland to carve its bed through the beach and pour 8 million litres of water a day into the Pacific Ocean.







Eli Creek is the largest freshwater creek on the eastern coast of the island. It is an area of exceptional and pristine beauty. This creak is very popular in the late afternoon on hot days, with kids particularly loving this destination. There are a number of wooden walkways and a short, circular route runs up one side of the creek and down the other. It is possible to swim in the lower reaches of the creek.

Keukenhof Gardens




The Keukenhof garden is located near Lisse, Netherlands and is very famous as the garden of Europe. The Keukenhof is the world’s largest flower garden and about 7,000,000 flower bulbs are planted every year in this park. The Keukenhof garden was established in 1949 and the total area is almost 32 hectares. This garden was introduced with a purpose of exhibiting all the special hybrids by the growers from all over Europe and Netherlands.




Keukenhof is the most beautiful spring garden in the world! It has more than 7 million tulips, daffodils and hyacinths, which are encompasses in about 32 hectares. Fakarava,French Polynesia







Fakarava is a part of 7 “biosphere reserve” classified atolls by UNESCO in 2006; that shows the luxuriance of this land and its unique lagoon. This lagoon is fed by 2 pass: The Garuae pass (in the North, 1600m wide, the biggest of Polynesia) and the Tetamanu pass (in the South). While diving, you can meet all types of fishes found in the Tuamotu Archipelago: barracudas, groupers, loaches, manta rays, eagle rays, grey reef tiger, hammerhead sharks, dolphins and turtles, withou Diving sites on this atoll constitute simply a paradise for the fauna and the flora, but also for the divers. The interest for Fakarava is also found on the main land by visiting a pearl farm and discovering the Tetamanu former village with its church built in coral in 1874. But also and especially by returning to a simple and protected life, only guided by nature and it breathless show.t forgetting the luxuriant corals.
